Apologies if it's already been sent and nobody chimed in.In any event...I’m going to be running the wires from my solar panels this spring. Lastyear I temporarily installed them with the wires running down the cabinsides and into the engine room through the air intake openings. Not ideal. Before I start I am hoping someone can explain how the wires get from thewiring conduit in the forward starboard corner of the pilothouse down tothe engine room. I understand the path down through the fakestack, alongthe pilothouse ceiling, and to that conduit. But from there it is a mysteryto me how wires make their way to the engine room where the batteries live. For bonus points, I’d love to hear how the wires from the 12v breaker panelget down to the engine room as well.Thanks,-JonathanNT 37-137CyclopsFreeport, Maine-------------- next part --------------A message part incompatible with plain text digests has been removed ...Name: not availableType: text/htmlSize: 2101 bytesDesc: not available------------------------------Message: 2Date: Thu, 21 Mar 2024 10:50:47 -0700From: Evan Effa eheffa@gmail.comSubject: [Sentoa] Re: Nt 37 wiring pathTo: "Association South East Nordic Tugs Owners' (SENTOA)" sentoa@lists.sentoa.orgCc: Jonathan Handelman jonathan.handelman@gmail.comMessage-ID: B17B85C0-4568-4BC2-9DDC-D8FD70C64894@gmail.comContent-Type: multipart/alternative; boundary="Apple-Mail=_37436775-E12B-422E-8DFD-F3EE7B5DB83F"HI Jonathan,You can run the wires through the roof (use clams to seal the wire entry point) to the FWD STB pillar and down through the helm station and into the engine room from there. It’s a bit of work and fishing wire is no fun but quite do-able.-EvanNT 37-148TUGAWAY> On Mar 21, 2024, at 10:47, Jonathan Handelman via Sentoa sentoa@lists.sentoa.org wrote:> > Hello everyone,> > I thought I sent this inquiry out last week but when I got no replies to what I think is a scintillating question, I second-guessed myself and am now reposting.
