Good morning,
Can anybody tell me where to get the rubber seal for the overhead bedroom
hatch or what brand was used in the 1987 NT 26 ?
Also does anybody have a Windlass mounted on one ?
It looks very difficult to get one to work correct the way the chain
locker and post are laid out.

Currently being redone inside from bow to stern.

It can be done with a bit of planning.

Bret,
Bowmar hatches should have a serial number on them. Look under the bottom, aft edge of the hatch lid. If you send Pompanette your serial number, they should be able to give you the model number. Use the contact form on this page: https://pompanette.com/companies/bomar/ https://pompanette.com/companies/bomar/ IMO they have great customer service.
Once you know the model, you can probably find the gasket material here: https://pompanette.com/product-category/replacement-parts/gaskets/portlight-gaskets/ https://pompanette.com/product-category/replacement-parts/gaskets/portlight-gaskets/

I see various spellings used for the brand of overhead hatches on NT’s. The correct spelling is BOMAR, a division of POMPANETTE, LLC.. Bomar hatch parts, including gaskets, are available from a variety of marine retailers. As a company, POMPANETTE has a reputation for excellent customer support. Go to their website and scroll down for specific product information. www.pompanette.com
