Hi guys..  Hope everyone is off to a good start. Two things if anyone's
interested...

https://www.clockwork-usa.com/post/inventory-price-etc-may-2024

The first is about a repair that was considerably cheaper and faster than
what might be conventional.. the second, my thinking in setting my starting
price.

*Repair: * Some information about an *electrical design fault that caused a
generator oil leak *that kept me from actually trying to sell my boat for
way too long. Initially very expensive repairs were suggested by various
people who were not even slightly inspiring. Once we exposed the scale of
the issue, a simpler repair immediately suggested itself. I wrote up the
details of best practices, etc and posted them.

It's certainly a long read, and this time that was on purpose. It has
stimulated much discussion among a very mechanical group of old friends and
it saves a lot of breath to write a lot down. Equally, they made a few 42's
with my generator (Onan MDKAW) so given my experience, maybe this write up
might help someone.

I believe that anyone who might have the pathological conditions described
in that blog should verify whether they do or not and if so, see the
suggested repair.
This may apply to non-Nordic/non-MDKAW systems.

*Updated inventory and price *- Further, now that I've got that repair off
my back, and she's substantially cleaned up, I can revert to active selling
of Clock Work. I did an inventory and set a starting price.. see the link
above if interested.
