Vaseline and elbow grease. My 32-057 was getting grey and a friend at the rendezvous polished about 3' of the rub rail without my knowledge while I was gone. Consequently I had to finish it so as to not cause attention to the difference. My dad always said, "bronze should be green and teak should be grey". I think rub rail should be grey too.đŸ˜„Charlie Billingsex 32-057 & 26-001Nobska & BeBeSent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone-------- Original message --------From: Harry Hungate via Sentoa sentoa@lists.sentoa.org Date: 11/8/22  11:39 AM  (GMT-08:00) To: "South East Nordic Tugs Owners' Association (SENTOA)" sentoa@lists.sentoa.org Cc: Harry Hungate wcx7106@gmail.com Subject: [Sentoa] NT 32-238 Rub rail restoration Bessie's black rub rails are no longer black.  What should we use to restore the nice black color?I read somewhere that Tacomarine supplied the rubrails, but Nordic Tugs does not appear on their list of boat manufacturers. Many thanks,Harry and JaneBessie-now in winter storage at ESS-KAY Yards, Brewerton, NY
