NT Door Stop/Latch

The spring on the doorstop latch on the saloon door on my NT42 has broken. The shaft is not screwed in so the spring is not readily replaceable.

Does anyone know where to find one of these? I could not find a name on it and it does not match any of the stop/latch devices that I can find online. This one has a unique side facing lever and a very good shock absorber.

David, have you contacted Dave at NT?  He may be able to direct you to the
vendor.  We have the same latch on NT42-108, I will look at it while at the
boat later this week. Cheers, Kevin

My spring broke recently also and I am using one from a different company that is too big but sort of works. I just spoke to Richard at newfound metals and he is going to have six sets of these made and sent to me, I would be happy to forward them on to you or whoever else might need one. Each kit will include a spring and a replacement rivet that you can hammer/peen over, or you can get the appropriately sized screw and locknut for it. You can remove the old one by gently drilling the hollow side of the rivet just enough that the old rivet will slide out of place.
Best,
