Removing Acqua Meter A150 from Flybridge

Good Morning,

My NT-42, Sea Gypsy, has an Acqua Meter (Rule) A150 mounted on the flybridge that needs repair.
Attempting to remove the compass from the gimbal bracket without success.

When loosening the thumb screws on each side of the compass (white arrow in photo), a "stop point" prevents the screws releasing from the housing.
Has anyone successfully removed the Acqua Meter Compass from the gimbal mounting bracket?

Thanks

Robert

Ours is a Richie with a slightly different attachment. I cannot tell from
your picture how it comes apart. Any luck with an interweb search?

Cheers, Kevin. 42-108
