Is anyone using an AXIOM with just the internal GPS Antenna at their helm station. If so how is the reception?Henry Gamsby37-90Fairhaven,  MASent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone

Impromptu has a pair of Axiom Pros. I found the accuracy unacceptable without adding the external antenna. As I recall it was 10 - 30 feet. The GPS now reports accuracy to within one foot. I suspect the Axiom’s internal antenna was intended for use with open cockpits or on flybridges.

Thanks.  I have an Axiom with the internal antenna.  It struggles to get a satellite fix, but it does get one after a few minutes.  Looks like an external antenna is the way to go.
