Good afternoon everyone,
What length line are people using for snubbers on NT37s?
Thanks,
-Jonathan
We made a bridle, 20 feet of 5/16" 3-strand on each side, eye splices on
the forward ends. The eye splices are connected by the shackle on the
aft end of a Mantus M2 chain hook. The aft ends are hitched onto the two
bow cleats.

Hi Jonathan,
Like Richard, I used a "home made" bridle with each leg being about 20 feet long. I wanted the chain hook in the water below the bow, with enough line to reduce "shock" in higher winds. I used 5/8 inch 3 strand nylon line.

A correction: we used 5/8 three strand, not 5/16.
