Hi all, I'm wiring (2) 200 watt Renogy panels on Bruno 32-190. I wired the panels in parallel and put a fuse between the panels and the controller. I put a breaker/disconnect between the controller and the battery bank. If I disconnect the breaker/switch while the sun is out will I damage the controller? Should I put a disconnect between the panels and the controller?
Thanks,
Chris Tassone

Read the manual for the Renogy MPPT controller.  We installed four 100 watt Renogy panels (wish we had installed 200 watt panels) in October 2021 on our NT 32-238.  I seem to recall that controller damage will occur if the circuit between the batteries and controller is interrupted while the panels are connected to the controller.

We used Sika-flex and plastic mounts to avoid drilling holes in the cabin roof.
