About an Onan gen vulnerability, and a mechanical NT42 back on the market

Greetings folks,

Two quick points...

  1. I have 3 minor issues to clear from the Readiness Log for my boat
Clock Work to be in peak readiness for sale. One of them has been an
unconventionally expressed oil leak at my Onan 11.5KW generator. This
was just solved... the part's been ordered from Kubota.. etc. Only some
wrench turning. BUT as I said unconventionally expressed (not something any
mechanic I've yet discussed it with has seen it... over half those aircraft
mechanics)  and a second-"but"... Trivial to avoid this fault
incapacitating your generator readiness in the first place. This is on my
Onan 11.5k and after pouring over numerous Onan manuals/guides, other
models are so close in terms of layout, I'd suspect they likely have the
same vulnerability too. And frankly if you look at this generally, it's
worth knowing about when you examine other generators/engines and even
other flavors of machines too. It's verbose but you'll get more than a good
    sense of it here:

  1. As the instrumenting on the CW site shows, a big fraction of the
visitors to the site come from Sentoa folks.. So please permit me to
announce here that Clock Work (NT42) is now actively back on the market. I
pulled it off at the start of the summer. If you check YW, you'll notice
it's the only 42 with the fully mechanical engine (reliability factor over
electronic if you believe in math) and the modern layout on either coast,
including desirable and popular features/upgrades. Announced fully here:
