Bruno, 32-190 is green with an ivory stripe. I cleaned and dewaxed it then applied 6 coats of Poli-Glo the 4 years ago. Every year I give it a good wash and apply 2 coats. The faded green looks really good. I was a skeptic of Poli-Glo but after compounding 2 previous boats my shoulders were shot so I gave it a try. It has worked well the last 4 years. Bruno is only in the water about 5 months and stored inside for the winter, so I don’t know how Poli -Glo would hold up in a southern climate.

I honestly don't know "technically" how many the boat will take, but, one time we sat with a total of 8 people on the top deck of another NT 37. There wasn't a whole lot more room to comfortably fit more up there. This boat did not have a flybridge and we were at a dock.
How many do you want to try to "put up there"?
The technical answer should probably come from the factory.

NT 32 here. Recently while on an outing with our yacht club, we took a group picture. I suppose there were 25 people on the boat, with about twelve of them on the top deck. During covid isolation, I sat five of my buddies on the sun deck in folding chairs. Never detected a sag or groan from the boat. I don't leave anyone up there while underway, as I'd hate to have them fling off when I hit a boat wake or something.

Hi, we have a 1991 26’. Our wood doors do not sit exactly square in the frame and have been sticking instead of sliding easily. Also, water drains very slowly from the door channel. Are we missing some sort of slider, do I have a plugged drain under the door channel ?
I am concerned about rot from direct contact.
Thanks in advance.

Are you referring to the side doors? Along the bottom of the side doors
there were a couple hard plastic pads that helped the door from riding on
the bottom of the wooden door track and allowed the door to slide freely.
It is possible that those plastic slides have been worn and the wooden door
is sliding inside a wooden track. I tried to locate these earlier but was
unable to find a source. I will email you a picture of what I am referring
too.

Scott & Tris,
On both my 26 and 32 NTs (both with wooden doors), I used a 1/2" (as I recall) plug cutter to cut plugs out of a piece of nylon material which I inserted in the existing holes on the bottom of the doors. The original plugs had worn down to the point that the doors were riding on the surface of the wood track slot. With new plugs, doors slid easily - perhaps too easily on my 26, since the 26 doors slide forward when opened, and any substantial wave/wake crossing encouraged the doors to slide closed on their own accord.
Happy tuggin',

Subject: [Sentoa] NT26 Door Question
Hi, we have a 1991 26’. Our wood doors do not sit exactly square in the frame and have been sticking instead of sliding easily. Also, water drains very slowly from the door channel. Are we missing some sort of slider, do I have a plugged drain under the door channel ?
I am concerned about rot from direct contact.
Thanks in advance.

Has anyone tried to use vinyl wrap for the stripe?

When we purchased our tug, 32-161, the trim was red and had faded to pink. We had experience trying to reclaim dark colors of faded gel oat that were less than satt. We opted to change the color to blue and had it professionally resprayed. Just the red stripe, red boot stripe and fakestack top. Would 100% do it again.

My NT37-90 is showing pretty dull in the green inlay/stripe. Was wondering how successful people have been in restoring the shine with compounding and polishing with a buffer. Looks to be simply gelcoat. Id rather restore if possible then have it painted.
