Fuel Gauge Quit

Gang,

My fuel gauge, although wildly slow to show much use, has been worth having
until my most recent trip.

In a seaway, it surged up and down violently for a few minutes before
quitting entirely.  It showed moments of functioning over the next half
hour, but then was finished.  Seems to me that it could only be the sender.

Did a Sentoa Search and found no recent discussion about replacing the fuel
gauge sender.  Does anybody know what part I should or can order to replace
it?
