I’m in the process of replacing the Spectra line on my dinghy davit. I have a 2006 vintage Pacific Fabrication Davit that I had installed in Anacortes. When I unspool the old line, it disappears into a hole in the drum and is attached there. How is it attached? Someone said a hex key lock? How do I remove the old line and attach the new line?
