my two cents
There are five 32’s in our harbor, three use Rocnas 15’s (33 pound)
anchor, one uses a 33 pound bruce , but that owner told me he getting to
change to a Rocna, the oldest 32 uses a CQR.
I have had my 32 for 13 years and anchor out in the Santa Barbara Channel
Islands.
The three 32’s that have Rocnas - all on agree on this- the Rocna holds in
our variety of conditions
We have found that a 33 pound Bruce anchor do not penetrate through eel
grass and they do not dig in fast enough .
According to the owner his CQR also seems to dig in quickly
I suspect it does, but I actually do
not know if the CQR self launches but on the three 32’s with the Rocnas
they do self launch

100% agree on ROCNA 22. Self deploys every time. Never had an issue in 4
years. Great anchor!

pulpit, and this new anchor doesn’t hold as well a in the sand of
Hampton
Roads as I would like.
If you have an original 32’ pulpit and an anchor that holds well in the
sand, please share your information. Self deployment gets big bonus
points.
