Hi Everyone,
I have a 2005 NT 32. The fuel tank is listed as 200 gallons. The other day the tank got very low, the fuel could not be seen in the sight gauge. When I fueled up I could only put on 157 gallons. It seems like I should have been able to put on more fuel.
Has anyone else had the same experience?

Unless there was a special order in the build, you should have the typical 205 gallon tank visible in your Lazarette. That tank may have a visible plate on it that states its capacity.
It’s remotely possible that you had ~40 gallons in it, and that it wasn’t feeding the site gauge for reasons of the way the boat was sitting in the water, the site gauge being blocked, or a problem with the valve of the site gauge. But I would seek to confirm the capacity of the tank.
On the bright side, 157 gallons does not cost as much as 205 :-)

Thanks for the replies. There is a plate on the tank that lists the capacity as 205 gallons, I had not noticed that before.
I did the math on fuel capacity. The bottom of the sight gauge is 4 inches from the bottom of the tank. That means there is 11,040 cubic inches of tank space. That much space can hold 48 gallons of fuel. Mystery solved. I thought I was almost bone dry the other day. You learn something everyday.

Sight gauge on our NT 32-238 is 11.1 US gallons per inch and it does not reach the bottom nor the top of the tank, so its a bit of a calculation to work out how much fuel is in the tank.
