Greetings,
I had a leak in the line between my fresh water pump and the accumulator
tank (missing hose clamp, not sure how) on 32-289 but in looking at it more
closely the chain of fittings seems to be:
Jabsco Quick Connect Strait 3/4” MPT -> 3/4” FPT to 5/8” hose barb PVC 90
-> 5/8” barb to 1/2” barb PVC reducer -> 1/2” barb 90 into the accumulator
tank.
Jabsco makes a Quick Connect to 1/2” hose barb. If I used this as the first
fitting out of the fresh water pump, I could just run a single 1/2” line
into the accumulator tank and eliminate 3 or 4 points of failure.
Is there a reason not to do this and step it down from 3/4 - 5/8 - 1/2
between the fresh water pump and accumulator tank?
Thanks!
Ryan
