Starlink Anyone??

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has received a Starlink antenna and used it on their boat yet.  Mostly I'm interested if anyone has tried using it while in motion.  Their equipment is not quite ready for a mobile/marine installation or usage, but I just saw a video on someone in Silva Bay that is using one successfully on their liveaboard boat in the harbor.

Thanks,

David Cheyette

Hi David,

We installed the Starlink RV version on the boat a couple weeks ago. Its been very nice. So much better than the marina WIFI or cell phone hotspots. A company in Denver makes an adapter to connect the dish to an antenna mount. See the mount here: https://mri-denver.com/shop/ols/products/standard-marine-antenna-threaded-mount-for-starlink-stn-mrn-ntn-thr

Hi Paul,

Where did you install your Starling antenna?

Do you have any pictures to share?

Hi Kevin,
Yes, we have the $135/mo plan. You can turn it off anytime. We will turn it off at the end of month when the boat goes into storage.

Hi Evan,
We mounted the dish on an adapter (see the message below) that connected to the antenna mount. I will take a picture this weekend and send it to you.
